Senior Project Co-ordinator

We’re looking for a Senior Project Coordinator to support the development and delivery of our Urban Places work in London and the South East. This is an exciting and ambitious programme of work, with the aim of helping to improve access to green space and heritage, helping people and nature to thrive.
Salary: £26,410 per annum, 30 hours per week (0.8)
The advertised salary is inclusive of the Inner London Weighting allowance of £4,465 per annum (prorated if you're part-time)

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months until May 2026.

You’ll be part of a vibrant professional project management community across the National Trust, delivering projects that support our national priorities and working with a range of brilliant people and partners.
You’ll support a range of collaborative projects across London, where we’re working with partners to develop grassroots community greening projects on spaces beyond those looked after by National Trust, such as our work in Lewisham and Islington.
Your contractual location will be our central London office (Savoy Hill House, nr Embankment) and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location (which includes partner locations) for 40-60% of your working week.This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
What you'll be doing
You’ll support green space and heritage development projects within the London Programme. As part of this, you’ll develop and handle the processes needed to collect and analyse information on projects and regularly report project progress, on time and to a high standard.
You'll organise and support project team and board meetings and be involved in procuring goods and services for the projects and tracking expenditure. You’ll carry out research to inform decision-making and produce a range of project-related materials.You’ll engage with partners and maintain strong relationships and communicate project updates internally and externally. You’ll capture lessons learnt and evaluate progress, as well as supporting fundraising bids and reporting on funding received.
You may also have responsibility for specific project components.

Who we're looking for
We’d love to hear from you if you’re:
- practically experienced in project management processes, administration and systems, including procurement, finance and reporting
- good at working with all kinds of people and organisations, able to build and sustain strong collaborative relationships
- familiar with budgeting and able to produce and interpret reports
- used to conducting research, plus analysing and presenting information
- able to present information clearly and in an interesting way for a range of audiences
- proactive and able to manage conflicting priorities
- comfortable with Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Sharepoint
- experienced in working on environmental, community development or heritage projects
