You will be pivotal in supporting the hardware team through various development projects, testing, and validation of RF-based products and designs.Your responsibilities will include formal compliance testing, product certification to international standards, and hands-on debugging using standard lab equipment.
Experience and Skills Required for this RF and Certifications Engineer job based in Cambridge:
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in testing and validation of sub-GHz RF design for technologies such as SigFox, LoRA, Zigbee, and more. Proficiency in testing cellular modems for 2G/3G/4G/5G technology and experience in EMC/EMI compliance testing is essential.
You should also be adept at debugging EMC/EMI issues, using RF test equipment like Spectrum Analysers, and managing certification test plans.Extensive experience working with country specific certifications to ensure they meet government rules.
