Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified Gas and Plumbing Engineer to handle installations, repairs, and maintenance of gas and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both gas and plumbing systems, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, heating systems, and plumbing fixtures (e.g., boilers, radiators, sinks, toilets, and pipes).
  • Conduct safety checks to ensure gas installations meet industry regulations.
  • Diagnose and resolve gas and plumbing-related faults efficiently.
  • Perform routine maintenance, emergency callouts, and installation projects.
  • Accurately document work completed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients about work performed.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and support staff on larger projects when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications, such as Gas Safe registration (essential).
  • Experience in gas installation, maintenance, and repair (minimum 3 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of gas safety standards and regulations.
  • Full UK driving license (or relevant license for your location).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional qualifications, such as electrical or plumbing certification.

Working Conditions:

  • You will typically work in residential and commercial properties undergoing gas and /or plumbing works.
  • The job may involve working indoors or outdoors, depending on the project requirements and weather conditions.
Salary starting from £35,000 based on experience.
