The post holder will be expected to support and contribute to matrix working with NHSE DCO nursing colleagues to achieve the ambition of improved workforce planning. The postholder will be based in the regional offices but expected to travel or use virtual technology (Teams) to attend regional and national meetings.
Budget responsibilities are part of the role. The post holder will identify and lead several local and regional projects with support of the transformational hub. The post holder will link closely with the NHSE Integrated Care System (ICS) facing teams in the region, supported by the Regional Head of Education and Training: Health and Care Professions leading regionally on a range of Nursing and Midwifery workforce transformation programmes collaboratively with stakeholders, both internally across NHSE and externally, including ICBs, Arms Length Bodies, Education Providers and other key partners to drive the delivery of strategy across the region and to ensure the delivery of the agreed outcomes.
