Key Responsibilities
As Construction and building trades supervisor, He/She will be responsible for ensuring that a buildingproject is completed safely, within an agreed timeframe. Managing the practical side of every stage of
the build consults with managers and contractors to resolve operational problems. You will also
supervise and direct a range of operations on a construction site and coordinates the activities of
construction and building workers and/or subcontractors, Establishes and monitors work schedules to
meet productivity requirements and determines or recommends staffing and other needs to meet
productivity requirements. Manage the construction site on a day-to-day basis, reports as required to
managerial staff on work-related matters.
What you'll need to succeed:- Construction and building trades supervisor with NVQ/SVQ Level 2/3 qualification with some
- The ability to conduct the full range of professional services
- Take a direct approach with your projects
- Take responsibility in managing members of staff.
- Be willing to get involved in the decision-making process.
