Nursery Teacher (Maternity Cover) - January Start
Position: Nursery TeacherLocation: Wolverhampton, WV10
Contract: Temporary (1 year, Maternity Cover)
Pay: Starting from £140/day for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and £160/day for qualified candidates outside of ECT period.
Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a positive learning environment? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to work at an ofsted rated 'Good' school based in Wolverhampton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for nursery-aged children.
- Support the social, emotional, and educational development of all children in your care.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and the wider school team to ensure each child’s needs are met.
- Maintain accurate records of progress and provide feedback on children's development.
- Support children with special educational needs and adapt teaching accordingly.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in a nursery setting OR
- Level 6 Early Years Practitioner qualification with relevant nursery experience.
- A passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and independently.
- Knowledge of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework.
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
