Deputy Nursery Manager

Salary: £26,000

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our client's team and play a key role in the management and operation of their vibrant nursery facility. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of early childhood education, a nurturing approach, and the ability to support the Nursery Manager in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for young children.

• Level 3 or above in Early Years
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Solid knowledge of child development theories and a commitment to best practices in early childhood education
• Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
• Strong understanding of and dedication to diversity, equality, and inclusion in working with children and families

• Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery
• Support and lead the staff team, providing mentoring and guidance
• Ensure the safety, care, and wellbeing of all children in the nursery
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and programs
• Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and external agencies
• Uphold and promote inclusive and diverse practices within the nursery
• Assist in administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, staff scheduling, and budget management
• Uphold health and safety regulations and best practices
