Prospero Teaching are working on behalf of a lovely primary school in Winchester, seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 child with specific educational needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the child, providing tailored support to enhance their learning and development.

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Provide 1:1 support to a Year 6 child, adapting teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
  • Assist with classroom activities and ensure the child is fully engaged in their learning.
  • Implement personalised learning plans and strategies.
  • Monitor and record the child's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the child's social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure consistent support

Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
