Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to secondary school students
- Develop curriculum and instructional materials to meet the educational goals
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
- Manage classroom activities and create a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level
- Strong knowledge of programming languages and computer systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Education
- Experience with exam board specifications
- Experience in extracurricular activities related to Computer Science
