Description
As a Children's Advanced Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in advocating for the well-being of vulnerable children and their families. This position demands a high level of expertise in child welfare, crisis intervention, and case management.You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, healthcare providers, and community organizations, to ensure that children receive the support they need in various settings. Your primary focus will be to assess family dynamics, create intervention plans tailored to individual needs, and facilitate resources to help families navigate complex systems.
Furthermore, you will engage with families to build trust and empower them to take charge of their circumstances. By leveraging evidence-based practices, you will contribute to the development of innovative strategies that promote positive change and improve life outcomes for children.
You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior social workers, fostering a culture of learning and accountability within the team. This role requires not only technical knowledge but also emotional resilience, empathy, and a steadfast commitment to advocating for children's rights.

ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of children's and families' needs.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support.
Provide counseling and guidance to children and families in crisis.
Advocate for children's rights and services within the community and legal systems.
Educate families about available resources and services.
Facilitate training sessions and workshops for community partners and families.
RequirementsMaster's degree in social work or a related field.
Valid social work license or equivalent certification.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in child welfare or social services.
Strong understanding of child development and family dynamics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in case management and documentation practices.
Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £33.58
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
