• Employee Assistance ProgrammeRocket Food is seeking an ambitious and dynamic Assistant Finance Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in business partnering, particularly with the Aston Martin Formula One team and Made by Rocket business units. This high-profile position will deliver financial and commercial support, driving improvements in service levels, cost-effectiveness, and value across business operations.Rocket Food has undergone a transformation in the last 12 months, successfully integrating into the wider group. We/'re looking for an individual who is keen to engage beyond the numbers and drive impactful changes throughout the business.

As Assistant Finance Manager you will:

• Business partner with key stakeholders, both financial and non-financial, to ensure strong commercial decision-making.
• Attend and contribute to client meetings, providing proactive financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Identify, understand, and manage financial risks and opportunities arising from ongoing operations and balance sheet maintenance.
• Deliver key business reports such as month-end reports, budgets, and cash analyses, and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Train operational teams on financial reporting to improve their performance.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reviews and highlight key risks and opportunities.
• Promote working capital improvements and manage debt ledgers.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and preparing presentations.
• Assist with client tenders, negotiations, and capital expenditure appraisals.The successful Assistant Finance Manager will :
• Be a Part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
• Have Industry experience in a service business.
• Be experienced in management accounting, including producing reports and analysis for commercial decision-making.
• Posses strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Have experience in business partnering with non-finance professionals.Desirable attributes of the Assistant Finance Manager include:
• Experience in training and mentoring junior team members
• Experience in a CPU-led business.
• Proficiency in Excel Macros and VBA.
• Familiarity with SAP and Cognos for analysis and reporting.
