This is an exciting opportunity to join a large support services company that is a trusted partner of the government, managing assets and complex facilities across the UK
As the Health and Safety Bid Solutions Manager in the Complex Facilities Business Unit (defence sector), you can be located in the geographical area from Birmingham to Catterick. This role offers remote working with some travel required and will include some overnight stays throughout the region, but not excessive.

Responsibilities and StructureYou will report to the Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Director.
- Responsible for ensuring that the regional operations director meets health and safety requirements. The role includes managing a team of two safety advisors and contributing to the defence safety strategy and assurance regime.
- Qualifications and Experience
- Ideally, you should have a proven qualifications /diploma in health & safety, IOSH, knowledge of construction-based H&S, experience with MOD or DIO, and extensive experience in similar roles. Strong skills in handling difficult stakeholders and relevant security clearance are also required.
