This is a unique role for an ambitious individual to join as Operations Director. Reporting directly to the owner, you’ll be instrumental in refining operations, driving growth, and preparing the business for potential merger or acquisition in the next 1-2 years.Key Responsibilities of the Operations Director

Manage and optimise business operations to improve cash flow and prepare for scaling nationally.Lead the transition of manufacturing operations to Birmingham while maintaining quality and consistency.Oversee day-to-day business management with a focus on operational efficiency and strategic growth.Collaborate with the leadership team to explore potential merger or acquisition opportunities confidential.Build and manage a team to support national scaling and growth.Represent the brand’s values and ensure the continued delivery of exceptional patisserie products.

The Right Operations Director

Proven leadership experience, ideally within the patisserie or broader food production industry.Strong operational background, with the ability to manage manufacturing, supply chains, and scaling projects.A strategic mindset, with experience preparing businesses for growth or sale.Financial acumen to manage cash flow and ensure the business remains on a strong footing.Excellent communication and discretion, given the confidential nature of this role.Willingness to travel to Birmingham and London as required.
