Advanced Clinical Pharmacist - Community Services
Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated senior clinical pharmacist to work closely with the community-based staff and be responsible- Establishing a baseline and database of HDAT (High Dose Antipsychotic Therapy) prescribing within the STaTT community teams
- Stock control and ordering of medicines into community bases, specifically typical and atypical depot medicines
- Assurance that preparations prescribed are generic

Person specification
Education & Qualifications
Essential criteria- Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Non- Medical Prescribing Qualification
Experience
Essential criteria- Experience of delivering a clinical pharmacy service including prescribing
- Experience of working in mental health.
- Evidence of sound technical pharmaceutical & clinical knowledge to optimise safe and effective use of medicines.
- Experience of policy/procedure writing and implementation
- Experience in cost improvement programmes/managing changes
- Conflict resolution experience
Knowledge & Skills
Essential criteria- Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing
- Able to plan own workload with priorities and objectives and cope with conflicting pressures
- Able to work as a team and independently
- Ability to influence the prescribing practice of others.
- Evidence of involvement in education and training
