Aviation Recruitment experts Optime Group, in partnership with a well-known Ground Handling Company located at Gatwick Airport, are looking to add to its growing team of Turnaround Coordinator serving one of the UK's fastest growing airports.
What's on offer:
- Rate of pay: £16.88 per hour (Entry Level)
- Overtime Rate: x1.5 available
- Shift Pattern: 5 on 3 off
- Shift Timing: Example times below.

- Temp to Perm (performance based)

Confirmed start dates:
- 2nd December 2024 - 2 weeks paid training
Key Duties:
- Ensure a secure and efficient aircraft turnaround process, managing all aspects from arrival to departure with a focus on safety and effectiveness.
- Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork associated with the aircraft turnaround, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant protocols.
- Maintain strict adherence to both airline and airport policies, guaranteeing compliance at all times.
- Consistently provide exceptional customer service to passengers, aiming to exceed expectations and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers effectively during disruptions, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a commitment to resolving issues promptly.
- Establish effective communication and collaboration with third-party suppliers, fostering positive relationships and ensuring seamless coordination of services.
Shifts:
The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working on a 5 on 3 off rolling rota. This could be subject to change!
An example of the shift hours:
- Day 1: 0500 till 1425
- Day 2: 0530 till 1455
- Day 3: 0500 till 1530
- Day 4: 1435 till 0000
- Day 5: 1335 till 2300

Requirements:
- Full Manual Driving Licence
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to quickly and accurately react to any given situation
- Work well as part of a team, and as an individual
- Right to Work in the UK
- Five year fully checkable reference history
- Ability to pass Criminal Record Check (CRC)
