Position: 1:1 Nursery Teaching Assistant (Mornings)
Location: Seaforth, Liverpool
Hours: 8:30am – 1:30pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP / April 2025
Are you passionate about early childhood education and making a real difference in a young child's life? We are seeking a caring and dedicated 1:1 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming Primary School in Soutport, PR8. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide tailored support on a 1:1 basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual support for a child in the nursery setting.
- Assist with the child’s learning, development, and emotional well-being.
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for the child to thrive.
- Work closely with the nursery team, SENCO, and parents to ensure a consistent approach to care and learning.
- Encourage the child’s social, emotional, and physical development.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with young children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting.
- Is calm, patient, and nurturing.
- Can build positive relationships with children and colleagues.
- Has a good understanding of child development and individual needs.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
- Work in a supportive, friendly school environment.
