Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Ability to gain SC clearance
• Degree in relevant discipline
• Nuclear industry experience
• Demonstrable knowledge and skills required for design development though out the design lifecycle
• Experience working alongside multi-discipline teams

• Chartership status or working towards

Role information:

• Manage the delivery of mechanical engineering work packages to the required scope, quality, schedule and cost
• Manage the technical aspects of the engineering packages from identification through to project handover
• Manage one or more technical design packages ensuring project objectives are met
• Provide subject matter expert advice when required
• Ensure design documentation covers the agreed scope of operations
• Plan for effective project implementation
• Ensure effective quality management arrangements are implemented and adhered to
• Ensure processes and activities are appropriately documented
• Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to
