We're seeking a skilled cook to bring creativity, taste, and excitement to our theatre kitchen. At the heart of our culinary operations, you'll have the unique opportunity to create delicious meals that fuel the creativity of actors, directors, and audiences alike. Person Specification:Essential:
- Creativity, a passion for food and flexibility to adapt menus to suit the unique needs of actors, directors, and theatre-goers.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proven experience of creating recipes and food management systems that can be easily delegated and communicated
- Proven experience in a kitchen environment, with a demonstrated ability to minimize waste and maximise ingredients without compromising on taste or quality.
- Align with our theatre's commitment to ethical practices by championing sustainability and responsible food sourcing.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to according business needs
- Attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Great people skills and able to work as part of a team
- Good written and spoken English
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- Experience of working in a commercial kitchen
- Interest in working in an arts environment
