An exciting opportunity has become available in the Gynaecology Department at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWHT), and we are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, skilled and motivated individual to join our team.
This full-time post involves working as an Administrative Assistant for Gynaecology providing professional and positive administration support to the department.
The post holder will be required to undertake a range of tasks within the department including effective appointment booking, managing clinic utilisation, dealing with all enquiries in a professional and co-operative manner via email or face-2-face and supporting in reducing long waiters.
- To manage a wide range of clinics in line with agreed clinic profiles, ensuring all slots are being utilised, ensuring that patient numbers are adjusted to clinician availability, cancelling clinics where needed and ensure patients are rebooked in timely manner.
- Cashing up outpatient clinics, updating Referral to Treatment (RTT) status and ensuring next steps are in place ie follow up appointments.
- Maintaining the request list, working through the list to reduce the number of patients waiting for a follow up appointment.
- Managing the shared email inbox ensuring emails are actioned in timely manner.
- Respond to appointment requests and other queries via email promptly.
- To arrange transport or book translators for patients when necessary
