Job Description
Job Duties:
- Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
- Assist the teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons for students with SEN
- Help students with SEN to develop their academic and social skills
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and learning materials
- Monitor and record the progress of students with SEN
Required Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
- Good understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
Education:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of SEN best practises and approaches
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification
Working Conditions:
- Work in a school environment
- Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
- Temporary position with the potential for extension
