Vacancy – INTERNAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced Internal Account Manager to work for our well-established client in Yate. The role involves driving sales and maintaining strong relationships with customers, managing a portfolio of house accounts and non-trading accounts to ensure satisfaction, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Put the customer at the centre and be passionate about customer service.
  • Provide the highest levels of service from the business and organisations.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring high service levels and satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary contact for assigned accounts, resolving queries promptly.
  • Fully manage the administration of house and non-trading accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to understand customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular reports on account performance and sales progress.
  • Present data, performance metrics, and presentations.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products and services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Work with operations teams for seamless order processing and delivery.
  • Liaise with marketing to support campaigns and new product launches.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events.
Experience and Competencies:
  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or customer-facing roles.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills for sales data and customer insights interpretation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
