We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Sales Account Manager to join our client's automotive performance centre in the Bristol area. The successful Technical Sales Account Manager will be responsible for selling technical products to customers and building a strong rapport with them to ensure repeat purchases in the future.

Technical Sales Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients across a range of industries; Automotive, Agriculture, Transport, Construction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Respond and vet potential client enquiries through a range of communication platforms (Email, Phone, social media).
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to coordinate and exhibit at a range of industry specific trade shows throughout the UK and Europe.
  • Understand the different tools, software, products and equipment offered to our client network and carry out sales demonstrations and hand over training.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Regularly attend key industry networking and social events.
  • Manage the stock and help with the shipping of products and equipment that the company distribute to their global client network.
  • Coordinate with the internal teams, including working closely with the technical support and marketing team to ensure the clients are provided with all the information, tools and marketing material that they need.

Technical Sales Account Manager Requirements:

  • Proven track record in sales and account management.
  • Good technical / engineering knowledge is vital.
  • Automotive or Heavy-Duty vehicle technical knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Competent IT skills are a must.
  • Sound commercial acumen.
  • Full and clean UK driving license.
  • Available to travel and work away from home, including occasional weekends.
  • Highly motivated and confident with a can-do attitude.
  • Professional with the ability to communicate with varied customer types.
  • Presentable and sociable.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional phone manner.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well either on their own and in a team.
  • Somone who thrives under pressure and enjoys a dynamic and varied work environment.
