Telford - Accounts Assistant
Your new company
Hays are working exclusively with a very reputable organisation who are looking for an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis for a period of 4 - 6 weeks
Your new role
The role is working within an established Finance team whilst they implement a new version of Sage and will be running the new and old systems side by side
You will be checking the data on the sales and purchase ledger and assisting in moving the system from manual invoices to electronically uploaded invoices
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have an understanding of Purchase and Sales ledger, a very keen eye for detail, good IT skills including Excel and the ability to communicate well in order to liaise with internal staff in regards to any errors or issues in the system
This role could suit an experienced Accounts Assistant, Purchase ledger clerk or Sales Ledger clerk, or a bright Graduate/ AAT Studier who has accounting experience, good Excel and is keen to gain experience of assisting during a systems implementation.
What you'll get in return
This role is to start asap and will be for 4 - 6 weeks. The company are flexible on hours and happy for someone to work 37.5 hours per week or could offer 30 hours per week. This is a great opportunity to add this experience to your cv.
