Teacher of Music

Adcote School for Girls is a well-established independent school located in Shropshire, dedicated to providing an inspiring and supportive learning environment for young women. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Music to join our school, teaching Key Stage 2,3 and 4 students.

Minimum Experience: 1 year

The role involves planning lessons that meet curriculum requirements, assessing student progress, and contributing to the wider life of the school’s music department.

• A minimum of one year’s experience teaching music at secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of the music curriculum.
• Ability to teach various aspects of music including theory, performance, composition, and listening skills.
• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Good communication skills with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Relevant teaching qualification or certification in education or music.
