As part of the continued focus for 2025 we are now looking for a consultative but results driven, technically minded Sales Manager to the team.
Job Overview of a Technical Sales Manager
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving growth strategies. This role requires a proactive approach to market analysis and an understanding of industry trends to effectively position our services.
You will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and enhancing our market presence.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.
Collaborate with internal resources such as the NPI team / Engineers and Project managers. .
Monitor competitor activities and provide insights for strategic planning.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable partnerships.
Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the company’s services.
Utilise CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and report on sales performance.
Skills
Proven experience in business development or sales.
Strong understanding of Electronic / Mechanical Manufacturing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to meet targets and drive results through strategic planning.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is advantageous.
