General Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools - Leeds

Salary: £90 - £120 per day (PAYE)

Our partner secondary schools in the Leeds area are seeking reliable and motivated Cover Supervisors to join their teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to support schools through our partnership with Teaching Personnel, a leading education recruitment agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Supervision: Manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and engaged.
- Student Support: Foster a positive environment where students feel encouraged to learn and succeed.
- Lesson Continuity: Deliver pre-prepared lessons effectively, ensuring learning objectives are met.
- Classroom Behaviour: Maintain high standards of behaviour management in line with school policies.
- Policy Adherence: Uphold the school’s policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.
What We’re Looking For:
- Availability: Flexibility for long-term and day-to-day placements during standard school hours (8:15 am to 3:00 pm).
- Experience: While experience working in schools is advantageous, we welcome candidates with transferable skills from other roles, especially those involving leadership or working with young people.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and classroom management abilities to engage effectively with students.
