ACR Recruitment & Training LTD are looking for a Senior Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Practitioner, Room Manager at a children’s day nursery for our client in Oxfordshire.

Your Role Will Include:

• Supervising and supporting a team and the children in working towards their Early Years learning goals.
• Planning and implementing children’s learning and play activities.
• Observing and assessing children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Working in partnership with colleagues, parents, and/or carers to meet the individual needs of children.
• Working as part of a team to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children, in line with the EYFS.
• Providing a wide variety of activities to support children’s development.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene for children attending the nursery, including changing nappies and toilet training (where applicable).
• Undertaking certain domestic tasks within the nursery, such as cleaning equipment and ensuring rooms are kept clean and tidy.
• Keeping up to date with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Assisting with serving children’s meals, respecting dietary preferences, and adhering to allergy requirements.
• Ensuring that all policies, procedures, and risk assessments are read, understood, and followed.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all information received.

You Will Ideally Have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Nurse / Early Years qualification such as EYE, NVQ, CACHE, or a recognised equivalent.
• A good understanding of the EYFS.
• Knowledge of planning, observing, and record-keeping procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (required)
• Nursery Practitioner: 1 year (required)
