Actual salary range due to part time nature of the role £18,990 - £29,450 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Teacher of Religious Studies to join an ambitious, forward-thinking department. Religious Studies is taught by a small team of experienced and dedicated staff who are committed to promoting the academic success of our students, but also to provide them with a richer, more well-rounded view of the world and the belief systems within it, as well as developing critical thinking skills to allow students to make up their own minds whilst still ensuring that they keep an open mind.Religious Studies forms part of the wider social science faculty which also contains Sociology and Psychology (See department information for further detail on our department.)

The Department has 3 dedicated classroom bases in lower school, all located in the Arts Wing of the school and has access to a range of excellent facilities and resources.Use of ICT in teaching in learning is first-class and constantly improving; every teacher has a laptop, every room has an interactive whiteboard and projector and the Department has access to several ICT Suites which can be booked in advance.
All teaching rooms are purpose-built, modern and spacious, each with its own large stockroom and a range of religious artifacts.
