The Stalking Threat Assessment Centre (STAC) is a multiagency service that works in closely with Metropolitan Police, National Probation Service and third sector advocacy colleagues to divert and manage individuals engaged in stalking behaviours.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of a friendly, efficient, customer focused administrative service, supporting the clinical staff with their caseloads and plan the work of administrative services across the range of administrative functions that underpin the patient pathway, research and outcome evaluation, reporting to funders and support the business in achieving its plans and objectives.

The post holder will work in partnership with partner agencies and other healthcare providers, providing administrative assistance where needed and act as a single point of contact for health, maintaining and promoting positive working relationships with all referring agencies.

The post holder will need to have an excellent understanding of information governance and follow the information sharing agreements in place. This will involve gathering the necessary clinical and offending related background information from a range of systems under appropriate legal systems.
This information will support the clinical assessment and decision making process.
  • To liaise clearly and effectively with colleagues, other internal departments, service users and representatives of service users, relatives or carers, and outside agencies as necessary, both face to face, by telephone, letter or electronically, whilst always maintaining confidentiality.
  • To recognise and appropriately respond to those who have communication barriers.
  • To work closely with the MDT to gather and maintain information pertaining to new referrals and ongoing caseloads.
  • To receive telephone calls and emails from outside agencies, deal with them if possible or refer on as appropriate.
  • Deal with issues that arise appropriately, including enquiries or complaints from members of the public, service users and carers.
  • Ensure timely referrals to appropriate agencies are made by MDTs to ensure discharge arrangements progress appropriately.
  • Where appropriate refer to another officer of the trust, ensuring that no issue is inappropriately delayed in being actioned because of the absence of the management team.

In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington.

The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.

  • Maintain accurate data in the Trust and Commissioner electronic patient records, ensuring alignment between the two.
  • Maintain databases associated with role using Microsoft office.
  • Be able to run pivot tables and use basic Excel functions to validate, cleanse and analyses data.
  • Provide monthly statistical and written reports as and when required.
