The opportunity:

Due to a period of sustained business growth, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Marketing Executive who will contribute to creating visual designs and written content for sales and marketing materials like documents, emails, brochures, etc.

They will also manage the Planteria website & social media. Possibility for some photography and videography

Location & Hours:

The role is permanent and based out of our beautiful HQ in Henham (CM22 6AA), enjoying a rural location, where lunch is provided onsite daily and ample parking. Working hours are 40 per week and we offer agile working whereby you can work 1 day from home.

Key deliverables:

Create Engaging Content

Own the design and writing of all sales and marketing materials. This includes customer documents, email campaigns, brochures, and more. Make sure everything looks good, fits the brand, and gets the message across.

Handle Design Requests

Be the go-to person for all internal design needs. Help colleagues with documents, leaflets, and brochures. Work closely with the design team to deliver clear, high-quality materials.

Manage Website and Social Media

Keep the website and social platforms up to date. Use templates or drag-and-drop tools (no coding). Add case studies, write simple content, and make sure everything online reflects the brand well.

Lead Creative Campaigns

Drive marketing projects such as plant giveaways, Christmas hampers, and other events. Bring fresh ideas and help plan each campaign to make it a success.

Run photo and video work

Lead in-house photography and video projects. Take product photos (like flower bouquets), edit them, and produce internal training videos. Keep all visual content sharp and on-brand.

Requirements
  • Graphic Design – Skilled in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Particularly InDesign and photoshop). Able to create sharp, eye-catching designs for a range of marketing needs.
  • Strong Writing – Write clear, engaging content that fits the audience and purpose. Good at turning stakeholder input into focused, effective copy.
  • Creative Thinking – Bring fresh ideas to both visuals and writing. Find smart ways to share key messages.
  • Brand Consistency – Stick to brand guidelines and keep design and tone consistent across all content.
  • Good Communicator – Work well with others. Ask the right questions, explain ideas clearly, and keep projects moving.
  • Time Management – Stay on top of deadlines. Juggle tasks and prioritise well under pressure.
  • Photo & Video (Bonus Skill) – Comfortable taking photos and videos for use in training or marketing. Willing to learn and improve if needed.
  • Post-Production Software – Knowledge of editing tools (e.g. Photoshop, Premiere Pro) is a bonus.
