Quality Assurance Technician

At our Preston site we are seeking to recruit Quality Assurance Staff who will be assisting the Technical Department in ensuring that the Company produce quality products per customer specifications, and making sure that all productions systems are adhered to.

Two Shifts available Sunday-Wednsday and Wednesday-Saturday

Responsibilities:

• Completion of quality assurance checks throughout the process of producing customer products.
• Review production processes to ensure products are made to specification.
• Carry out GMP audits.
• Conduct and record results of daily, weekly and monthly checks such as scale records, temperature probes and calibration and refrigeration equipment.
• Check daily production paperwork.
• Carry out micro equipment and hand swabs, allergen swabs, prepare samples for laboratory.
• Raw materials check.

Qualifications:

Criteria:

• Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Highly organization and motivated, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
• Knowledge of QA systems (desirable).
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
