Your new role:
Your new BS35 Teaching Assistant role will be to provide tailored one-to-one support to an individual in KS1 with ASD, ensuring their individual's learning needs are met, assisting the class teacher in the creation of implementing personalised learning plans and supporting the student in developing social skills and building confidence.You will be monitoring and recording the progress of this student with your guidance and working with an extensive SEND team to ensure this student's well-being alongside academic success.
Requirements to succeed in your new role:
- Relative Teaching assistant experience within the last two years
- Two working references from your two most recent jobs that apply some relevance
- Previous experience with young SEND children is required
- Previous experience with KS1children
- A DBS on the update service is required. This can be done through us here at Hays.
