Salary: £26,000 + Benefits (Private Medical, Private Dental, Pension, 33 days Annual leave (Inclusive of bank holidays & Many more)

The Role:

The main purpose of the Outpatient Services Administrator is to facilitate the smooth and efficient operation of patient-centric services within Richmond Pharmacology. This encompasses effective communication with patients/volunteers at every stage of the trial they are participating in.

You will provide support to the outpatient clinical team to aid in the efficient operation of clinical services which includes, maintaining up to date records of patient participants on the VDB & responding to requests for assistance from patient participants as appropriate

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Professionally deal with all inbound telephone inquiries, ensuring the effective communication of information to patients/participants and their families
  • Manage appointment schedules whilst maintaining accurate and organised patient records
  • Process payments and extend financial assistance where necessary, to ensure a seamless patient experience
  • Address and resolve patient dissatisfaction in a timely manner
  • Manage studies as allocated and seek to develop productive working relationships with patient participants
  • Accurate data entry, retrieval and database maintenance
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience in a customer service role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Experience in a customer service-oriented role is essential
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
