Assistant Accountant (Part time 3 days)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in financial processes, streamlining operations, and ensuring cost-efficiency. This part-time role (3 days a week) offers flexibility with a hybrid work arrangement, supporting both the Finance Support Officer and Accountant in various finance tasks.

• Process and manage invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Collaborate with external factoring companies to manage invoice financing and reconciliations.
• Assist in maintaining financial records, ledgers, and accounts in QuickBooks.
• Support in preparing financial reports and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations.
• Help streamline and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Handle bank reconciliations, ensuring financial transactions are recorded and reconciled properly.
• Assist with budget monitoring and expense management to support cost control initiatives.
• Liaise with suppliers and resolve any payment or invoicing issues promptly.
• Provide general support to the Finance Support Officer and Accountant in day-to-day finance operations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes as required.
