Your Role
Capgemini Invent is hiring an experienced Senior Manager to work in the UK Telco sector.
This role will be fundamental in driving forward the transformation of our clients and their customers. We are seeking to hire a proven consultant who can help set a visionary direction whilst maximising the market opportunity, support the development of the team and deliver for our clients.
This is a key role encompassing broad experience across the Telco business and technology landscape across the B2B, B2C and Wholesale domains and be should include knowledge and understanding of Mobile, Fixed Broadband, supplementary services such IoT and IT.In addition, the right candidate should have experience of business development/personal sales and hands-on project delivery/management experience. This role would suit a technically savvy and business minded Telco consultant, who enjoys developing great trust-based client relationships and delivering to them with great consulting solutions.
To do this, we would expect you to have solid experience across the UK Telco landscape, with contacts in the UK Telco sector and be passionate about leveraging your network to identify, develop and close opportunities. We are especially keen to have colleagues join our team with a solid track record for driving technology transformation in UK.This is an exciting chance to drive change across the industry, helping client organisations navigate the ever-changing landscape and customer demands. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, be customer-focused and be willing to travel on business.
In the majority of cases, assignments will be in the UK and Europe and candidates must have exposure to this geographical area.
Your Profile- B2B, B2C and Wholesale experience
- A great understanding of the business operations of UK telcos
- Mobile and Fixed network experience
- Solid understanding of IT (BSS/OSS) architecture
- Business Process design experience
- Experience delivering consulting services in at least one UK telco
- Business case & strategy development across all areas of a telco
- Creating leading edge digital experience for customers and employees
- Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions
- Experience of proposition building and delivery
- Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background.
- Business development experience – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network
