CTU Project Administrator
Full time, fixed term for 24 months
This post represents an exciting opportunity to provide dedicated administrative support for a number of research projects managed by the School of Medicine’s Clinical Trials Unit (CTU). Our nationally accredited UK CRC CTU provides specialist and dedicated support to a strong portfolio of externally funded research studies.It has a strong commitment to, and nationally leading reputation in, delivering high quality research studies. This position will require strong administrative and data management skills, working in a highly regulated environment and in accordance with UK data legislation requirements.
Applications are welcomed from persons with excellent interpersonal, communication and strong organisation skills as you will be required to liaise with a broad range of individuals and groups. You will have a highly systematic and methodical approach to work-related tasks, along with a proven ability to communicate effectively (face to face, over the telephone and in writing).You will have strong IT skills and be familiar and proficient with Microsoft Office software, email and the use of the internet, and other software applications.
Experience of working with the NHS or in healthcare settings is desirable. You will have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grades C or above including Maths and English or equivalent and/or NVQ level 2 in a relevant subject, and/or with RSA II and/or equivalent experience in a similar position.
