Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant/Barista to join our team working at Sutton College, SM1 1AGYou will be working as part of a fantastic team, serving customers, and providing excellent customer service throughout. You will be required to perform basic food preparation and perform general cleaning tasks both back and front of house.Aramark UK are making a work life balance achievable whilst still working in hospitality, cultivating your culinary career with a world leading organisation.

- This is a Term Time only position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 07:00 – 15:00, 35 weeks per year leaving your evenings free

- National Living Wage-currently £11.44 per hour, equated over 35 weeks per year.

A day in the life of a Catering Assistant:
- Setting up the Starbucks coffee shop
- Serving students and operating the till, ensuring you are always providing excellent customer service.
- Stocking up and putting away deliveries, stock take
- General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service. Cashing up
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
- Excellent customer service skills
- Teamwork essential
- Previous catering experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
