Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join a successful Engineering Business located in North Somerset. For the right person, the client is offering a very competitive:
Up to £30,000 plus benefits, including study support
Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable as required
- Be responsible for posting supplier invoices to the purchase ledger as well as updating and maintaining customer records
- Provide support to the Finance Director in preparation of monthly reporting
- Ensure financial records are maintained/kept up to date
- Respond to financial queries from internal and external requests
- Provide support with audit as required, including query response
- Respond to finance-related queries from stakeholders
- Some assistance with credit control as and when required
- Other ad hoc tasks as and when required
Person specification:
- Experience working in a similar role
- Ideally studying towards AAT or AAT qualified
- Desire to work toward ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work well as part of a small team
- Must be a self-starter/completer with excellent attention to detail
- Salary of up to £30,000
- Study support for AAT or ACCA/CIMA
