What we are looking for:
Are you numerically minded, enjoy working in a busy environment and would like to support two Primary academies in the East Bristol area? If so, we are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our supportive and talented team at Cabot Learning Federation.

We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant will ensure all procedures are carried out accurately and in accordance with CLF and academy policies and requirements, Department for Education (DfE) guidance and appropriate legislation.

They will act as first point of contact for general finance queries from academy staff, suppliers, parents, and the CLF central team.

This role is offered on a full-time hybrid basis, the successful candidate will be expected to travel between sites in Fishponds, Stoke Gifford and Kingswood as well as some days spent working from home.

This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.

The checks will also include an enhanced DBS check and a further check against the appropriate barred list.
