About the Role
The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will play a key role in enhancing management information for stakeholders by leveraging Power BI to improve data visualisation and support better decision-making. This role will collaborate with data owners across Busy Bees to consolidate and enhance data sources, streamlining data-gathering processes and improving data reliability.By optimising reporting and analytics, the BI Analyst will help drive operational efficiency and increase trust in data-driven insights.

Role Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities- Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns
- Reporting: Develop and maintain BI reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI
- Insight Generation: Provide reporting agreed with stakeholder requirements including actionable recommendations based on the data analysis to support decision-making processes
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions. Work with other data teams to future proof our data capabilities as a business
- Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy and reliability of data by understanding the data sources, performing regular data validation and cleansing data
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest BI tools and methodologies to enhance data analysis processes
- Act as an SME – Use knowledge of power BI to assist other people in the business to increase their knowledge of power BI and assist with any training requirements
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required by stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
Key Skills & Experience- Experience: Proven experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in power BI
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
- Organisational Skills: Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
