We are looking to recruit a creative and enthusiastic teacher who places a high priority on raising standards and is committed to providing a balanced education. The position is for three days per week with a possible fourth day.
Teaching Qualifications: PGCE or QTS is preferred but not necessary. Excellent subject knowledge and passion for teaching is a must. NQTs and graduates are welcome to apply.
Job description
This excellent secondary school is looking for a Part time English Teacher (3/4 days per week) who is able to inspire and drive girls to make the most of their education. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4.
We are an Independent Girls’ Grammar School with an Islamic ethos in Birmingham, who have been rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted third time in a row in April 2018 and have a track record of high academic achievement. We have a diverse staff of different ages and different backgrounds, and we welcome all applications.

- Have the drive and commitment to bring the subject outside of the classroom and get involved with extra-curricular activities

We are a small school with 135 students, and have small class sizes of approximately 25 pupils. Discipline is easily managed with good classroom management skills and a firm but fair approach.
