About the role:

As part of the University Health and Safety Department, this role will support the Lead Health & Safety Advisor to provide comprehensive and professional Health and Safety (H&S) advice, training, instruction and information to Schools and Services across the University to ensure high quality Health and Safety standards are achieved.

About you:

We are looking for a pragmatic experienced Health and Safety Professional to join our established Health and Safety team. You must be educated to degree level, and as a minimum, you must possess a Level 6 Health and Safety qualification such as a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and be a current member of IOSH.

Experience of working within a Science related area would be desirable. As the role will involve dealing with University Colleagues at all levels, your communication and interpersonal skills should be of a high standard.
