An exciting opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified Radiographers to join the Imaging Department at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at the Bedford site.
The role involves rotation between Bedford Hospital and the CDC sites, depending on service needs, providing a dynamic and varied work environment.
As a Radiographer, you will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues from around the world in a supportive, professional, and community-focused atmosphere. Main duties of the job- Actively contribute to the delivery of high-quality imaging services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care are maintained at all times.
- Serve as a role model for radiographers, student radiographers, and other healthcare workers, helping them to develop their skills and become considerate professionals in the field.
- Supervise staff within the clinical environment, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure the smooth operation of imaging services.
- Deputise for the Modality Manager in their absence, taking on leadership and supervisory responsibilities to ensure continuity of care and service delivery.

Essential criteria- BSc In Radiography or equivalent
- HCPC Registration
- Post Graduate Cerificate/Diploma
- Leadership Course
Experience
Essential criteria- Previous experience within specified modality
- Leadership skills
Knowledge
Essential criteria- Ability to independently analyse and make judgements on complex information relating to patient care.
- IT skills at an intermediate level with ability to use word, e-mail etc
- Ability to use own initiative maintaining judgement when under pressure
- Ability to resolve and manage conflicting demands on service resources.
Personal Skills
Essential criteria- Ability to motivate, organise and manage a multidisciplinary team of staff and pass skills and knowledge onto others.
