R&D Project Support Officer | University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust
The post holder will provide R&D project management administration to patients, researchers and external customers. This will also include arranging and organise events for the department and working on the communications for the team, including social media and the R&D Website.
The role will involve working across the wider R&D team and Trust. The post holder will work with clinicians and research nurses and therefore excellent communication skills, and a positive can-do attitude are essential.
Applicants will need to be computer literate in Word, Excel and Outlook mail with good organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Individuals must have the ability to multi task, manage and prioritise your own workload and be able to work on both your own initiative and as part of a team.

The Project Support Officer will have a responsibility to provide R&D Project Management administration for R&D Projects throughout the project life cycle. This will include supporting several areas of work concurrently with the assigned project or programme and manage competing demands.A key role will be managing the team incoming email inbox and using their initiative to deal with emails appropriately. Engaging with key stakeholders and staff, where necessary, to ensuring all project plans, actions, risk logs and trackers are kept up to date.
This will also include working with all team members in the collection of information for data, compliance, and performance reporting on relevant team projects.
The communications part of the role will include organising and planning and attending related events which may be based at Rugby St Cross as well as Coventry, and organising meetings and training courses as necessary. Updating and maintaining the R&D Website along R&D with social media as required and assisting with communication requests and updates.
