The hospital is part of a larger, reputable, and progressive veterinary group with nearly 30 years of establishment. With nine practices across the West Midlands, East Midlands, and Staffordshire, this group is known for its friendly, compassionate approach to veterinary care.
They are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join this dynamic team. You will work alongside a fantastic team of vets, nurses, and support staff. The team includes surgery certificate holders who routinely perform advanced orthopaedic procedures such as TTA and TPLO.Additionally, the group has specialists in exotics, ECC, imaging, medicine, and ophthalmology, along with a visiting cardiologist who performs echocardiography and ECG.
The role involves some sole charge days, so confidence in general surgical and medical skills is essential. You will have the clinical freedom to fully work up and manage your cases with the support of your colleagues. The practice provides a spacious, light, and airy working environment with a surgical theatre, prep room, and advanced equipment including Digital X-ray, Multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring, Ultrasonography (including Doppler), Endoscopy, and ECG.They also have a comprehensive In-house laboratory featuring microscopy, haematology, biochemistry, and an Idexx Catalyst for fast in-house results. The clinic is working towards ISFM cat-friendly status and RCVS accreditation. They maintain a good ratio of registered veterinary nurses, many of whom hold certificates in ECC, Anaesthesia, feline nursing, and behaviour.

The Rota:- Full time role - Part time and flexible working options available
- 4 day week between 9am and 6.30pm
- Saturday rota between 9am and 5pm
- No OOH
- Excellent salary up to £70,000 DOE
