About the Role
We are seeking confident, capable and ambitious Teaching & Learning Mentors to support our students both in and out of the classroom.
You will:
- Support classroom learning and help manage behaviour across the academy.
- Lead and participate in sports sessions such as boxing, table tennis and football.
- Create safe, engaging, and structured learning environments.
- Work closely with teaching staff, mentors, and senior leaders to support academic and personal development.
- Help students build positive routines, emotional resilience, and core skills for life.
- Supervise and support students during academic and enrichment sessions.
- Implement learning plans, risk assessments and behaviour management strategies.
- Maintain consistency in timetables and routines – even under pressure or last-minute changes.
- Support the set-up and delivery of daily academy operations.
- Play an active role in identifying and analysing behaviour to better support students' needs.
