Job Description:As a Child Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in our team, directly assisting children and young people in various settings to provide emotional and practical support. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:- Establish positive relationship with the children.
- Conduct key work sessions as a group or individually to support the young person with their emotional, social and behavioural needs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised care plans for the young person.
- Work closely with other social service professionals, community organizations, and government agencies to coordinate services and support for the young person.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to address challenging behaviours as well as working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive living environment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of each childs progress and behaviour and complete reports and documentation in a timely manner.
- Must be able to respond to crisis situations calmly and effectively, following established protocols.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications or qualifications are a plus).
- Experience working with children or young people in a residential setting or similar
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on children's lives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to the changing needs of the children.

- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Adult and Child DBS registered on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to provide 3 years of references.
