If so, this is the perfect role for you. YMCA England & Wales is looking for a motivated Fundraising Executive to join our dynamic Public Fundraising Team and play a key role in supporting vulnerable young people across England and Wales.
The opportunity
In this role you will report to the Fundraising Manager (Acquisition), and you will support the Public Fundraising team across a number of direct marketing and fundraising campaigns.
The focus of the role is administrative support and thus provides an outstanding opportunity to learn in detail how public fundraising in a major charity is executed.
You will maintain financial information (processing of purchase orders and invoices); you’ll update results for direct marketing activity; you’ll help with the running of the individual giving and legacy activity; you will support team members with digital aspects of campaigns (building and updating web pages, creating QR codes and tracking links) and you will get involved developing copywriting for digital.
This opportunity will also see you learn how to project manage digital direct acquisition campaigns (including for our RoomSponsor program) and you’ll be able to work with our Legacy Team too!
Who we are looking for
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual with some experience in Charity Fundraising; maybe you have been working in a role where your eye for detail has been a strength. Fundamentally you will have a passion for our cause and a desire to launch your career in a meaningful, fulfilling direction.We want someone who wants to learn, to help and to grow!
