The Role

Reporting into the Financial Controller and working on a hybrid basis, duties and responsibilities of the Financial Accountant will include:

• Support the monthly closing process within tight deadlines and present reports to Senior Management.
• Uphold compliance with internal accounting and external governance policies.
• Assist management with technical accounting matters.
• Prepare statutory accounts under FRS.
• Act as a key point of contact for external auditors for quarterly and year-end audits.

The Candidate

To be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following:

• Must be an ACA qualified Accountant
• Proven experience in the preparation of statutory accounts and serving as a key contact for external auditors.
• Strong internal controls and compliance skills, SOX exposure is a MUST
• Proficiency in SAP is advantageous
• Detailed knowledge of accounting standards, including Hedging, Pension & Lease Accounting.
