The Compliance Surveyor will ensure our portfolio is compliant with all statutory, regulatory, and corporate standards and willhave a proven track record of auditing compliance within the social sector.
The post will be based in St. Helens but travel to other locations will be required.
Responsibilities:
- To proactively work with the Compliance Team to provide an efficient and coordinated workflow to deliver full assurance of
through the completion of quality audits.
- To liaise with internal and external contractors on site ensuring the service provides value for money, meets quality and
- To implement a reliable, effective quality assurance system for all work streams by combining fully intrusive, work in progress
monthly reporting.
- To monitor contractors / suppliers and ensure their standard of work is acceptable and in compliance with recognised safety
- To support the manager and ensure that financial payments are reviewed for accuracy and validity prior to processing.
- To be responsible for investigating Carbon Monoxide incidents and producing reports detailing all aspects of the case
- To be responsible for providing advice regarding the design of mechanical and electrical installations relating to both
- To provide technical support on-site monitoring standards and performance of contractors to ensure a high standard of quality
- To keep up to date with training, developments, and changes in legislation
- To assist with organising internal and external audits and help embed any subsequent action plans including completing and
- To contribute to the delivery of the operational plan and the development of an outstanding service that makes a positive
- To act as champion of change, innovation, continuous improvement, value for money and risk management.
- To take personal responsibility for your own personal and professional development.
- To be a positive influence in a team based on trust, mutual respect and integrity in which everyone takes individual

Skills and Experience:
- Level 3 qualification in Gas Installation & maintenance
- Current Gas Safe Registration
- HETAS Solid Fuel
- IOSH Working Safely qualification.
- Evidence of and commitment to continual professional and personal development.
- Must hold full current driving license
- Ability to travel to various locations using own transport with business insurance.
